John 5, Steven Adler: Rob Zombie Guitarist to Guest on Ex-Guns N’ Roses Drummer’s New Album (2)

Current Rob Zombie and ex-Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 will be making a guest appearance on the new Adler album. The session is scheduled to take place today (Wednesday, March 21) at a studio in Los Angeles.

Adler is the new band led by former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler. The lineup features frontman Jacob Bunton (Lynam, Mars Electric), and Lonny Paul (Adler’s Appetite). “I love the music that we’re creating!” states Adler. I haven’t been this excited about my band since the GNR days. Jacob is exactly the singer I have been searching for. He has an amazing range and is a great writer and frontman. Lonny is an amazing guitarist and songwriter and the vibe is perfect!”

The band is currently in a Los Angeles recording studio working on their debut album which will feature a guest appearance from Adler’s former Guns N Roses band mate Slash.

John 5 will release God Told Me To,’ his latest solo CD/DVD, on May 8. He’s also working on the music for Rob Zombie’s upcoming ‘Lords of Salem’ feature film.
