Former Runaways Joan Jett and Lita Ford have patched up their differences -- over dinner and guitar picks.

The onetime 'Queens of Noise' had not spoken in several years, but Ford first extended the olive branch to Jett, even though she feared that her former teenage bandmate might snub her peace offering.

"I hadn't seen her for so long. We exchanged guitar picks. I just thought it was about time to see her," Ford told the Chicago Tribune. "I reached out to her, and she reached back to me, so it was meant to be."

Jett agreed to have dinner with Ford in New York City, but Ford wasn't quite sure that would be the response she'd get. Ford said, "She could have told me, 'Ah, go stick your head in the toilet,' but she didn't. It was great. I told her in the email, 'If you want, you can tell me to f--- off. It's fine, but I would really love to see you.' She was a sweetheart."

We're left to wonder if an onstage reunion is in their future. Baby steps, right?
