Impending Doom Setting Off on Road to Metal Fest Tour

Impending Doom

Impending Doom are about to hit the road on a co-headlining trek with Through the Eyes of the Dead this spring. Chelsea Grin, Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza and Arsonists Get all the Girls will also be in tow. The band hits the road right after finishing the recording process for ‘There Will Be Violence,’ which is due out via Facedown on July 20.

“We are currently in the studio, and last week we finished up all the music on the new record. So all that’s left is Brook’s vocals, which is what we are working on this week,” bassist Dave Sitting told Noisecreep. “The only thing I can really say is that the new record is titled ‘There Will Be Violence,’ and it’s due to release this summer! On the upcoming Road to Metal Fest Tour, we will be playing at least one brand new song off the new record, which I’m very excited for.”

The tour runs from April 9 in Colorado through May 8 in Memphis, with a show almost every single day. What makes it a must-attend tour? “Besides the fact that we have hands down the best fans in the world and love raging with them at our shows, this tour is heading to a bunch of places we haven’t been in a while,” Sitting said. “The good news is that it’s a co-headline tour, so if you catch us on a night we are headlining, you might hear songs you haven’t heard us play in a while, as well as a brand new song off our next record!

“The last time we were in most of these areas, we were out supporting August Burns Red so we had a pretty short set time. So if you are in the area come out to the Road to Metal Fest Tour, bring all your friends and let’s make it a crazy night!”
