Ill Nino have announced dates for the American Epidemia Tour (watch preview video above), which will kick off Sept. 28 in Houston, Texas. It's in support of their latest album 'Epidemia,' which was released last year. Opening bands for the trek will be Sunflower Dead and In-Cyde.

During the tour, Ill Nino will honor U.S. military personnel. The band will offer free admission and 2-for-1 tickets for those who present a military I.D. at each concert.

Bassist Laz Pina is the son of a US Army war veteran. “I am especially proud to be honoring our troops," Pina declares. "Our military service men and women don’t choose war, but rather choose defending our freedom. For this we must be grateful.”

Vocalist Christian Machado says, “As we celebrate the return of our brave soldiers and wounded veterans, we will never forget those who gave their lives. A celebration for those who have served without fear and prejudice is in order.”

It has been a busy touring year for Ill Nino. So far they have visited 18 different countries in 2013 alone.
