I Am Abomination, ‘To Our Forefathers’

I Am Abomination Good Fight, the new venture started by former Ferret founder Carl Severson, is hitting the ground running, signing new projects faster than we can report about them here on Noisecreep. It's making our heads spin, reporting-wise, but it's a good thing for the company, so we salute them! Michigan's fiercely monikered I Am Abomination will release their Good Fight debut, 'To Our Forefathers,' on May 11.

The band, like its label, is wasting no time getting its legs underneath it, as the Michiganders will hit the road and tour nonstop for the next three months -- something that might piss off girlfriends and landlords, but should slam the band on the hard rock map. The band will tour with Within the Ruins, will play the Jamboree Festival, which takes place in good ole Toledo, Ohio and will tour with Like Moths to Flames for a brief bit before joining Jamie's Elsewhere and Memphis May Fire through June.

The band's music is a laced with melodies and some Nintendo'ish riffs on 'The Deceiver,' which has a lot of noodly parts.
