Hinder will continue to tour sans vocalist Austin Winkler, who has taken leave from active touring since earlier this summer in order to deal with personal matters. The band will co-headline a trek with '90s alt grunge rockers Candlebox. Saving Abel's Jared Weeks will continue to fill the temporarily vacant vocal slot in Hinder. Clearly, Winkler's situation isn't "hindering" any touring.

Tickets go on sale here on Friday, Aug. 9, with the first show taking place in Portland, Maine on Sept. 20.

Winkler left the band's previous tour for personal reasons and if there is an upside, it's that fans will get to see and hear a "different" Hinder for a night. It's rare and might not happen ever again, so it will certainly offer concertgoers a fresh experience.

"With Jared filling in, it’s like getting two shows at once,” said Hinder drummer Cody  Hanson. "It’s energetic, fun and unlike anything I’ve ever seen from a rock band. You won’t want to miss this!"

“I’m stoked to be touring with our friends Hinder,” echoed Candlebox lead vocalist Kevin Martin in a statement. “We’ve been talking about it for years and glad it’s finally happening!”

The first batch of dates run through Oct. 1, with more to be announced, so watch this space for more details.
