On July 17, HELLYEAH will be unleashing a fury they're calling Band of Brothers. Produced by Jeremy Parker (Godsmack, Evanescence) the band's third studio album finds them digging deeper into their heavy metal roots with some of the heaviest tracks they've ever put down on tape.

Tomorrow (May 8), Noisecreep will be premiering the title track from Band of Brothers, but to whet your appetite today, we're thrilled to bring you an exclusive look at the song's lyrics. HELLYEAH vocalist Chad Gray also gave us some insight behind the lyrics for the song.

Check them out below!

HELLYEAH vocalist Chad Gray on the lyrics to "Band of Brothers":

"I think the vibe of the lyrics comes off with a military feel, and while there are definite attributes towards that, it's not really written from the stand point of "the military". It's more of an army of us; feeling like the underdogs in so many situations. Trying to be recognized for what we do now as opposed to what we've done in our past. We work just as hard if not harder that we did then and we live just as hard if not harder than we did then. On top of that, we're fighting against the climate of an industry that is so much tougher to get back to the starting line of a record cycle in past years.

I think the song speaks volumes about any brotherhood and what family is willing to do for one another to stay alive. The "killer instinct" lines; "we're in the shit and we love it". They're all a reference to combat. The idea that even though you struggle. If you fight, believe, stand together and work hard you will persevere. Never give up and take care of the people that take care of you. I've realized that the whole vibe and message of band of brothers has gone far beyond the head space of when I wrote it looking at my HELLYEAH members as that band of brothers. It's opened up a whole new chapter in realizing and understanding what the band HELLYEAH, our fans and friends share everyday. We need them as much as they need us and vice versa. It takes me back to my metal roots. Really needing and relating to music and how important and powerful it was to me. And now as I sit on this side of it I've realized that not only do I still need the power of my own music as a release and my peers music for my balance. I understand the power of how much our fans are extensions of ourselves. It's an all for one mentality and anyone is welcome aboard. I fully believe that I have their back and they have mine. And as long as we stand together everything's gonna be alright."

"Band of Brothers," HELLYEAH from the album Band of Brothers

We walk the walk, like we're 10 feet tall,

Hide in the tree tops of the timber, deliver death to all

We talk the talk, our voice is thunder,

My mission here is truly clear, I am the butcher

We are the shadow storm, rolling defenders,

Filled with piss and pride, and a courage unprecedented

It's time to man up, when you've got a man down

It's time to man up, never leave a man down

I've got your back and you've got mine,

As long as we stand together,

Everything's gonna be alright

I'll keep you high when you get low,

Just a band of brothers raising hell,

Like a murder of crows

We've got the skills, we've got the know how,

We bring a fury that makes you bow down,

My blood is poison, pumping through my veins,

Stalking like a madman killer, we bring the pain

I'd die for all of you, it's my destiny,

My killer instinct, iron man with a war face scream

It's time to man up, when you've got a man down

It's time to man up, never leave a man down

I've got your back and you've got mine,

As long as we stand together,

Everything's gonna be alright

I'll keep you high when you get low,

Just a band of brothers raising hell,

Like a murder of crows

We've got the look, and it's open season,

We've got that 1000 yard stare, and all we need is a reason

We're locked and loaded, full metal jacket

We're in the shit and we love it, let's mother fucking do this
