The pink slips were issued. Vocalist gone, bass guitarist bye-bye, rhythm guitarist a thing of the past; but this is not bad news. This is the news many have been hoping for. A return to the simple yet complicated mathematical noise of Hella that consisted only of drummer Zach Hill and guitarist Spencer Seim.

Zach Hill told Noisecreep, "We are very excited about being creative as a pair again. Working with minimal instrumentation and as two minds is what makes our music have no limitation. We hope to project inspiration and exercise in thought."

This will be the first time in four years the band will play write and record as the original twosome. After the 2007 Ipecac released full band album 'There's No 666 in Outer Space' Zach and Spencer went off in separate directions. Spencer has been playing and touring with his indie outfit sBach and Zach put out the solo record Astrological Straits and did a tour with just himself.

As of right now no label has been decided for release and no producer has been given the glory yet. As for what to expect from the always transforming and modifying Hella Zach Hill said, "Whatever the sound you could expect it will sound maximum."
