Hawthorne Heights’ forward momentum continues with their participation in the ‘Scream It Like You Mean It’ trek, a tour which features headliners Story of the Year. Starting Oct 8. in Cincinnati, Ohio, the tour is also celebrating the tenth anniversary of Story of the Year’s debut disc, ‘Page Avenue.’

“We’re really excited about ‘Scream It Like You Mean It,’ said Hawthorne Heights drummer Eron Bucciarelli. “We’ve known Story of the Year for several years and couldn’t happier to share the stage with our old friends as well as make new ones. We’re going to mix up our setlist every night with a different selection of songs from all of our albums. Prepare to sing-along and get wild!”

The band’s latest effort ‘Zero’ is a concept album which centers on a group of idealistic youngsters taking a stand against a corrupt corporation that has swallowed their middle America town. The project was inspired by the 2008 hit monster film ‘Cloverfield,’ which itself centers on the evisceration of a city (albeit through the hands of a destructive creature). ‘Zero’ was released back in June, and Hawthorne Heights’ summer has been devoted to playing Vans Warped Tour dates this summer.

But the road beckons once again this fall, as the journey continues for Hawthorne Heights. Other bands on the bill include Like Moths to Flames, Capture the Crown, Set It Off, and I am King. Their tour dates are featured below.
