Halestorm Vocalist Lzzy Hale on Duetting with Slash, Sebastian Bach + 2012’s Highlights (VIDEO INTERVIEW)
2012 has been a beautiful blur for Halestorm. The band -- singer/guitarist Lzzy Hale, her brother, drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith -- released their second album, The Strange Case Of... in April. Just prior to that that, on Feb. 21, their song "Here's to Us" was performed by Lea Michele in the "On My Way" episode of Glee.
In May, Halestorm created history when they became the first female-fronted band to top the Active Rock airplay chart with their song "Love Bites...(So Do I)." Also this year, Lzzy sang on Adrenaline Mob's album Omertá, covering Duran Duran's "Come Undone."
Most recently, Halestorm released a live acoustic EP entitled In the Live Room.
And then there were the tours, which spanned all over the world - Europe, Japan, Russia and finally back home to the States where this week they played to a sold out House of Blues in Los Angeles, their first Southern California gig since an UPROAR show in 2010.
Noisecreep caught up with the band backstage at the L.A. show, just before they delivered a soaring show to a pack-to-the-rafters room full of die-hards.
