Goatwhore are currently on tour in Europe, but shortly after that run ends later this month, the band will headline this year's Metal Alliance tour. The trek kicks off at Southport Music Hall in their hometown of New Orleans, La. on Halloween and will wind through over two dozen cities before wrapping up Nov. 30 in Easton, Pa. at One Centre Square.

Tickets for the Metal Alliance tour go on sale next Monday (Aug. 20), but VIP packages are available now at this location. Openers will come from The Casualties, Black Tusk and Great American Ghost as well as Morthereon and Gozu on select dates. The full list of dates, along with the tour poster, can be seen below.

Tonight, Goatwhore continue their European tour with Dying Fetus with a show at Club Academy in Manchester, England. That run wraps up Kaltenbach Open Air in Austria next Friday (Aug. 24).

When Goatwhore frontman Ben Falgoust told Full Metal Jackie how the band switched up their recording process on their latest album, Vengeful Ascensionhe talked about the evolution of the music, twenty years into the group's career.

"I believe that every song on the record is its own little individual aspect and we all play a role in each little part of that little aspect. But then when you put them all together for a full record they all kind of make such a huge impact, but it's definitely the idea of us being together and how we've evolved at creating the song, putting things together for the song, the way the parts flow into each other, the way the lyrics fit in spots, whether they need to be over certain elements or kind of let the elements of the music breathe a little more without any vocals."
