Ghost B.C. To Release Third Studio Album in 2015

Our favorite Swedish Satanic cult is planning big things for 2015. Ghost (Ghost B.C.) just announced that they are writing their third studio album, which they expect to release in 2015.

Ghost exploded in the metal underground after releasing 'Opus Eponymous' in 2010. They experienced even greater success in 2013 with 'Infestissumam,' which reached No. 1 on the Swedish album chart, gaining gold status in Ghost's home country. We also placed 'Infestissumam' at No. 2 on our Best Metal Albums of 2013 list.

As for Ghost's third full-length release, the band posted an update via Facebook:

We hope that you are enjoying the end…of the year. We would just like to tell you all that we are currently crafting a new album to be released next year and we can't wait to shed some light on the details about it.

A third album also means the "departure" of vocalist and spiritual leader Papa Emeritus II. Much like he usurped the first leader of Ghost, Papa Emeritus II will have a successor. What will he look like? Ghost will reveal the new leader's identity in due time.
