With a new album, 'Signs of Infinite Power,' in their back pocket and due out on Oct. 20, as well as the respect of most stoner and fuzz rock fans, due to the fact that they have reached their 20th anniversary mark, 2010 is going to be a banner year for California's Fu Manchu.

"We will be re-issuing our first, three-song seven-inch that we put out back in 1990," vocalist/guitarist Scott Hill told Noisecreep. "We'll be adding an extra song that was recorded during the same session, but was never released with it."

But the band probably won't stop there. Hill admitted he and his mates are toying with the idea of "doing a few live shows where we play an entire record start to finish. We will pull out the old gear that we played, like Fender Jaguar guitars and Mesa Boogie heads. We might even do a few different 'entire record' shows. A lot of these songs will be played first for the first time ever live."

As if that were enough for the Fu faithful, the band is also looking to release a DVD that will feature a show from the upcoming tour on it, where some of the Fu archives are going to be made public! Hill said, "I have a lot of live footage never seen before, dating from 1990 to now!"
