‘New York, New York’ with a thrash riff? ‘My Way’ with a piercing metallic scream? ‘That’s Life’ with a glam metal groove? Who the? What the? What’s next, ‘Strangers in the Night’ redone with blast beats? Well, that’s very well a possibility.

Even metalheads love Ol’ Blue Eyes, the one and only Frank Sinatra, as members of Anthrax, Twisted Sister, Deep Purple, Queensryche, Warrant and other groups have recorded their own metallic versions of some of Sinatra’s standards and classics for an album called ‘SIN-atra.’ The tribute is due out on March 29.
