So it turns out that the law does extend to social media accounts and networks. According to TMZ, former Danzig and Nothingface bassist Jerry Montano was granted an extension on a temporary restraining order against a stalker who was harassing him via Facebook. Montano doesn't think this is big news, and we can understand why, but it happened, so we have to report it!

Here are the details: the woman, Priscilla Caputo, is forbidden from contacting the musician via Facebook for three years. That's an eternity in the social networking sphere, so it's like she will totally move on by then and won't be counting the days till 2015 so she can contact him again! She also must stay at least 100 yards away from him at all times.

But Montano isn't the only one receiving a restraining order in this case. Caputo also filed a request for one against him, as well. The judge also granted that restraining order. So there you have it. They have to stay away from each for a long, long time!
