Flashback: GWAR on ‘The Joan Rivers Show’ [Watch]

GWAR have been featured on numerous TV shows over the years, especially when the band was just making a name for themselves in the early ’90s. Here Oderus Urungus and Beefcake the Mighty appeared on ‘The Joan Rivers Show’ shortly after the release of their seminal sophomore album, ‘Scumdogs of the Universe.’

While most hosts were confused by GWAR’s act, Joan Rivers seems to completely understand what the band is about. This makes for a pleasant conversation between the two, with Oderus and Rivers exchanging witty comments back and forth. The whole video is a gem, so make sure to watch through until the end!
