Five Finger Death Punch’s Zoltan Bathory Showcases Pre-Show MMA Training

Want to see Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory get his a– kicked properly? Then watch this nearly four-minute video of the musician engage in MMA training, specifically a form of Kung-Fu known as Wing-Chun, while backstage at Mayhem Fest.

If you are a fan of the sport, you will enjoy watching Zoltan, who is a serious student and competitor, grapple with his trainer. The guitarist valiantly tries to escape various moves he finds his body locked into and the video really does demonstrate what a marvel the human body can be when you tie it up in all sorts of knots and use your arms and legs like weapons as instruments of martial arts.

“He’s being nice because you are here,” Zoltan laughingly tells the camera about his trainer while flat on his back. He finished, saying, “If you weren’t here, I would be, like out already,” and then mimicked being passed out.

“I get my a– kicked all day,” Zoltan said about his routines and training, as though the butt whooping was a badge of honor. He then detailed some of his experience and history with various disciplines and styles of fighting in MMA. The beauty of Zoltan’s competitive spirit is definitely alive and on display for all to see.
