While much is being made about Stone Temple Pilots split with Scott Weiland, there's no denying the amazing music made while the foursome was together. This Readers Poll asks you to name your favorite Stone Temple Pilots album.

The group emerged on the scene in 1992 with the 'Core' disc, which yielded the singles 'Sex Type Thing,' 'Wicked Garden,' 'Plush' and 'Creep' with several other fan favorite tracks. In 1994, they returned with 'Purple,' a hit-filled collection featuring 'Interstate Love Song,' Big Empty,' 'Vasoline' and 'Pretty Penny' among others. 1996 gave us 'Tiny Music … Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop,' which spawned 'Big Bang Baby,' 'Lady Picture Show' and 'Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart.' The band's fourth release, simply titled 'No. 4,' arrived in 1999, featuring 'Down' and 'Sour Girl.'

As the group entered the 21st century, their time began to dwindle. In 2001, the band issued 'Shangri-La Dee Da' with the singles 'Days of the Week' and 'Hollywood Bitch.' After the album support concluded, the band went their separate ways until finally returning in 2010 with their self-titled effort. 'Between the Lines,' 'Take a Load Off' and even 'Cinnamon' to a certain extent did well at radio.

That's six Stone Temple Pilots albums with the "core four." Now it's your turn to tell us which of these Stone Temple Pilots discs is your favorite by voting in the Readers Poll below. If you want to back up your argument, drop us a line in the comments section.
