There's a whole lot of rocker representation on the horizon for the upcoming season of IFC's 'Portlandia.' Noted Pacific Northwesterner Duff McKagan, of Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver and Walking Papers fame will make a cameo on the upcoming season. Fans can also keep an eye out for Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and the Dead Kennedys' Jello Biafra getting some screen time on the comedy series as well. With so many rockers heading to 'Portlandia,' we started thinking about some of the more interesting TV cameos that have occurred over the years.

On the animated front, you've got Korn who starred throughout an episode of 'South Park' that was somewhat inspired by the bizarre TV cameos of the '70s like when KISS appeared on a 'Scooby Doo' Halloween special. A whole slew of rockers have appeared on 'The Simpsons,' but Aerosmith's 'Flaming Moe's' episode may be the most classic of the episodes. And there's Marilyn Manson's appearance on MTV's 'Clone High' as a rock star and licensed physician that stands out.

For more traditional cameos, there's the time that Rush's Alex Lifeson was kidnapped on 'The Trailer Park Boys,' or when Motorhead was literally the "house" band for 'The Young Ones.' What about the time Alice Cooper played Dungeons and Dragons on 'That '70s Show'? Or when we learned where Eddie Van Halen gets his inspiration on 'Two and a Half Men'? Speaking of inspiration, Iggy Pop gets inspired on 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete.' 'Mr. Show' gave us one of the first ever appearances of Puscifer, and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong rides a hot streak on the short-lived series 'Haunted.'

There's plenty of rockers gracing TV series and we want to know which guest cameo is your favorite. Vote in our Readers Poll below:
