In 2003, the members of Creed were in a period of transition. A split with vocalist Scott Stapp left the band pondering their future, but as Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall began working on new music the name of Mayfield Four frontman Myles Kennedy came up. An invite was extended and Alter Bridge was formed.

Over the past decade, the band has released four studio albums with each helping to establish Alter Bridge as one of rock's premiere groups. It all started in 2004 with 'Open Your Eyes,' a disc that garnered recognition for the title track, but followed with the less successful 'Find the Real' and 'Broken Wings.' In 2007, after a label change, the band returned with their sophomore set 'Blackbird.' The album kicked off with the single, 'Rise Today,' followed by 'Ties That Bind,' 'Watch Over You' and 'Before Tomorrow Comes.'

In 2010, the band truly connected with their 'AB III' album. It featured their first chart-topping single, 'Isolation,' along with 'I Know It Hurts,' 'Ghosts of Days Gone By,' 'Wonderful Life' and 'Life Must Go On.' A break that included a Mark Tremonti solo album and Kennedy becoming a full-time member of Slash's band gave the group time to recharge. But in 2013, Alter Bridge returned with their 'Fortress' album, which has yielded the 'Addicted to Pain' single so far.

That's a solid decade worth of music from Alter Bridge and we want to know which of their singles you feel is your favorite. Vote in our Readers Poll below:
