Noisecreep caught up with drummer-vocalist Crouton [Jacob Olds] and synth-vocalist Nadaddy [Nathan Currin] from Family Force 5 on the Vans Warped Tour just before it wrapped up last week.

Both band members are thrilled about the October 18th release of their next album, 'III.'

"It's a super honest record this time," said Crouton. "The last record was kind of like a concept record. This one is really honest, taking into account where we are as a band, stories from the last few years, a real sort of down home look at where we are today. It's super ghetto and super redneck at the same time. Some true ATL swagger. It's got a gold three wheeler on the cover. I think that explains it."

"What says Atlanta and us more than that?" Nadaddy chimed in. "And he's right, this record a very exciting thing for us. We just shared the cover and track listing today and the fans are already buzzing about it."

And this is a band that believes in listening to its fans.

"Years ago," said Crouton, "before social networking and all, it was hard to communicate with a lot of fans at once. But now it's easy. We can do birthday shout outs, whatever. It's cool. But that said, nothing can ever replace meeting fans face to face and on a tour like Warped it's pretty easy to set things up."

Nosiecreep wanted to know - if either musician could have received a tweet or personal message back in the day when they were coming up from a favorite artist, who would they most wanted to have heard from?

"Let's see," Naddaddy said. "I'm thinking the Beastie Boys and U2. That would have blown me away."

Crouton didn't have to think for a second. "Michael Jackson!" he exclaimed. "Even today, man, if I could just get a tweet from heaven or something. I'm telling you - even if his current Twitter account shouted out to me with someone else doing it - that would be totally cool."
