Exodus

Exodus are getting ready to debut another new song, 'Burn, Hollywood, Burn,' from their upcoming album 'Exhibit B: The Human Condition,' which comes out on May 18. The track will premiere this weekend on Full Metal Jackie's syndicated radio show.

"This is about my total hatred of reality TV stars," guitarist and songwriter Gary Holt said. "These are people famous for doing nothing more than being born, rich or giving birth to too many kids at once, and my utter disbelief that anyone would watch it in the first place."

On last week's ''Creep Show,' we talked to Holt about a number of subjects, including the theme of 'Exhibit B: The Human Condition,' which Holt says is about man's inhumanity to man. Holt cited 'Class Dismissed (A Hate Primer)' as an example. The song, which can be streamed on the band's MySpace, was inspired by the Virginia Tech killings and tells the story of a student who snaps and goes on a killing spree from the assailant's point of view.

Exodus have scheduled three U.S. record release shows for 'Exhibit B: The Human Condition.' They are also scheduled to play European festivals throughout June and part of July, and return to the U.S. at the end of the summer for a soon-to-be-announced tour.
