Every Time I Die

During the month of May, Every Time I Die and Norma Jean will embark on a brief run of U.S. shows with openers Cancer Bats, according to a press release. And no one's more psyched than Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier, who is a self-admitted Every Time I Die disciple.

"Obviously, I'm stoked on this," Cormier exclaims. "It's Every Time I Die and Norma Jean. But, in all sincerity, we can't wait to go back out with Every Time I Die again, especially now that their beat keeper is a fellow Canadian. It just makes this tour that much sweeter. We don't know the Norma Jean dudes yet but I'm sure this whole thing is going to be a big ol' brodown by the end. My only beef is that the tour is two weeks and not two years!"

Our thoughts exactly. The trek only includes 13 dates, and comes to a close May 25 in Wilmington, N.C. The tour launches May 11 in Columbus, Ohio.

The tour precedes Every Time I Die's run on this summer's Warped Tour, and Norma Jean will use the trek to drum up some interest in their upcoming LP. The Cancer Bats will be touring in support of their new disc, 'Bears, Mayors, Scraps and Bones,' which drops on April 13. The disc includes a cover of the Beastie Boys classic 'Sabotage.'
