The Evanescence/Seether wheel of drama and band member swapping continues to spin. This time, vocalist Amy Lee has reunited with former guitarist Troy McLawhorn, who quit Seether earlier this year due to "personal friction" with another bandmate. McLawhorn previously quit Evanescence in 2008 to join Seether.

McLawhorn shared the news via his Facebook page. "I'm really happy to be back again and can't wait for everyone to hear the new music," he wrote. Lee was equally thrilled, using Twitter to express her joy: "I'm proud to announce that Troy McLawhorn is back in Ev! Album is sounding awesome! We love you Troy! Welcome back." She also tweeted a photo of them in the studio together.

Seether's Shaun Morgan, who dated Lee and endured a messy (and public) split with her in 2005 after a two-year relationship, also used Twitter to muse about the revived Lee-McLawhorn partnership. "Interesting news about our old guitarist," a less-than-enthused Morgan wrote. "Can anyone guess? No, he's not coming back. He went to another band. Little Anti-Shaun club. Any more guesses...? So, good f---ing luck to Amy Lee and Troy."

Ouch.

Noisecreep is just looking forward to hearing the music.
