Enemy of the Sun

"The whole song is sometimes made of those twists," Enemy of the Sun vocalist Jules Naveri cryptically told Noisecreep, regarding the band's forthcoming, as-yet-untitled follow up to 'Shadows,' which is due out in spring 2010, which is expected to be full of sonic twists and turns. "For example, a weird rhythm or a vocal line. In our case, the unusual usually becomes usual. You can expect everything with this album."

The band writes most of their music outside of the studio walls, with Naveri saying, "Some decisions and conclusions come spontaneously and it's refreshing, as it brings out a new perspective to a song. The songs are more or less 80% finished when hitting the studio so we get enough space for this improv. It keeps also the studio work fresh."

Naveri claims that everything in the world is inspirational for Enemy of the Sun. "You read a good book, watch a movie or see a an interesting headline on the news and when you go deeper in the issues you'll find a lot of stuff to write about, both musically and in lyric wise. In our case, the darker side of the stories interest us the most."

All these factors should aid Enemy of the Sun in the quest to craft a thrilling album.
