Emmure singer Frankie Palmeri recently had the online store for his Cold Soul merchandise line taken down. The ban allegedly happened as a result of offensive t-shirt designs. [The PRP]

Glenn Danzig has teamed up with a Runaway, and no, it’s not Joan Jett. Instead, the ‘Zig has partnered with former The Runaways singer Cherie Currie. The onetime blonde bombshell posted a photo on of herself and the big-biceped Danzig on Facebook, sharing the following caption: “Glenn Danzig and I at the studio recording a duet for his new album out this fall. GREAT GUY.” So the Danzig/Curie duet will drop in the next few months. We cannot wait to hear it. We’re predicting it will be good. [Facebook]

Grinders Nasum have released the dates of their Farewell 2012 tour. The band recently reunited for over 60 shows with Rotten Sound’s Keijo Niinimaa filling in on vocals for late frontman, Mieszko Talarczyk. There are several festival dates included in the wrap up run. []

Down have confirmed that they will bring Warbeast, signed to frontman Phillip Anselmo’s Housecore Records label, on the road with them this fall. The tour launches on Sept. 18, the same day that Down’s new EP lands in stores. [Via Press Release]

Now that Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe has been freed from a Czech Republic prison and released a statement indicating that he was fairly treated and that he will return to clear his name and face the charges, artists have been weighing in on Blythe’s future. Like the legend that is Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford.

“My heart was with him, just like everyone else,” Halford said about how he felt about Blythe during his month-long incarceration. “It’s very hard to be in a jail, especially in a foreign country.” The singer also said that he can’t wait to hear how Blythe channels what he went through into his music. He said, “I can’t wait to hear him channel this into the music. Man, that next Lamb of God record is going to be like a nuclear bomb, because he’s going to be venting.”

Halford also suggested this recipe for the singer: “Go home, see all your loved ones and your family, do all the hugging and kissing and crying, and then get on the f-ing road and just explode. Vent. Vent it all out. I know that as musicians that’s what we do. I have a feeling that the next Lamb of God album is going to be colossal from an emotional point of view.” [Loudwire]
