Earth Crisis Take Vigilante Action

Scales of justice raised / Every meth lab burned / Crimson flames / Against the darkened sky

Earth Crisis inspired legions of hardcore scenesters to adopt a vegan or straight-edge lifestyle during their time as a band in the 90′s and early 2000′s. Now that they’ve reformed and have a new album out, ‘To The Death,’ a new generation will be able to hear their socially-charged anthems.

They haven’t let up on their militancy, either. The song ‘Firestorm’ from their ‘Firestorm’ EP caused controversy with its violent imagery against drug dealers. While it wasn’t meant to be a serious call to action, it illustrates how intense the band’s anti-drug agenda was.

So we come to their recent reformation and subsequent album with their views intact. The scene has changed and become more accepted but the ideals of some bands remain untouched.
