D.R.U.G.S. Want Us to ‘Stop Reading, Start Doing Pushups’ — Song Premiere

While they probably wouldn't be comfortable with the supergroup tag, a lot of people would consider Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows just that. Featuring Craig Owens (ex-Chiodos), Matt Good (ex-From First to Last), Aaron Stern (ex-Matchbook Romance), Nick Martin (Underminded), and Adam Russell (Story of the Year) -- the post-hardcore group's mere formation has already garnered them tons of online and print press attention. The band often goes under the provocative acronym of D.R.U.G.S., and on Feb. 22 they will be releasing their debut album via Pete Wentz's Decaydance record label.

In this Noisecreep video exclusive, we follow a gang of masked marauders as they vandalize the streets of NYC while D.R.U.G.S.' track 'Stop Reading, Start Doing Pushups' blares in the background. The guerilla-style video was directed by Kristopher Rey-Talley, a friend of the band that worked closely with them on the project. "We wanted to do something unique for our album release. So we had our friend Kris put together visuals for each of the songs, and we teamed up with some of our favorite websites to premiere each track individually," explained guitarist Nick Martin.

For their debut album, D.R.U.G.S. worked with producer John Feldmann (the Used, Atreyu), and the result is a collection of songs filled with the kind of dramatic push-and-pull dynamics that engross you from the first guitar lick. The quintet will be taking their forward-thinking brand of hard rock on the road as co-headliners of The AP Tour with goth-screamo favorites Black Veil Brides starting March 18 in Dallas.
