Droids Attack

Warning: This video contains no robots. But if you want that, make sure to catch the Madison, Wis.-based trio Droids Attack on tour as their mascot Robo is known to flex his metallic might in the audience.

'The Great Wall of 'Gina' features what you would expect from Droids Attack: heavy riffs cutting to the fuzz point. If you want your stoner rock with no space out meandering then your 4:20 prayers have been answered. As an added bonus, 'The Great Wall of 'Gina' video features a tantalizing burlesque dancer with a thing for blood.

It's doubtful the actual song has anything to a girl named Gina, as the band is known to masks heavy themes -- in the case of the 'Must Destroy' album, lots and lots of murder -- by naming the songs based on inside jokes.

Guitarist/vocalist Brad Van detailed that part of the writing process, saying, "There's a lot of dark subject matter in what we're doing, and I guess when it comes time to titling the song, we just go for a quick laugh. A lot of the songs that are titled are inside jokes we have as we're sitting in the van for hours traveling and we just get kind of crazy talking about stupid s---."

'Must Destroy' is out now, and Droids Attack are on tour wanting to play it for you.
