Down released their EP 'Down IV - Part II' last year and while the song 'We Knew Him Well' dropped around the disc's release, an official video for the track has been lacking ... until now.

The brand new concert video was filmed in Down's hometown of New Orleans at Southport Hall. It captures the rawness and power of the band's live sound. It's an intimate venue, with frontman  stomping around the stage and even sitting down towards the end of the song.

'We Knew Him Well' is one of the Best Metal Song nominees in the 4th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. Anselmo has been nominated for Rock Titan of 2014. See his competition and vote here.

Speaking of awards, Anselmo has been chosen as one of the President's Arts Awards winners in Louisiana's St. Tammany Parish. He'll be presented with the honor on Jan. 31. Anselmo tells Nola.com he's lived in St. Tammany Parish for 15 years. "I love it for many reasons," the vocalist says. "I have 17 acres of beautiful land, many animals and fantastic neighbors that put up with the racket and noise that comes out of my studio."

Anselmo continues, "I take pride in this little community, and support its growth with all my heart.  People are friendly, restaurants are plentiful and fantastic, and downtown Covington is quaint and wonderful."
