Deicide Drummer Steve Asheim Looks Back on Their Career (VIDEO)

Once again, this year's Inferno Festival in Norway featured top-notch headliners such as Suffocation, Saint Vitus and Satyricon. But one of my favorite headliner performances this year came from death metal giants Deicide.

Noisecreep was lucky to catch up with Deicide drummer Steve Asheim at the festival and he took some time out of his busy schedule to talk shop with us. You might also know him from his work in the group Order of Ennead.

Despite Deicide's infamous public image, Noisecreep found Asheim to be quite an affable guy, heck, he even cracks a few jokes here and there! Deicide just wrapped a European tour in support of their latest album, 2011's To Hell With God.
