Def Leppard’s Rick Allen Showcasing Fine Art Collection, AC/DC Beer + More News

While in Las Vegas for the band’s residency, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen will showcase his fine art collection, Electric Hand: Rhythm + Change, at Martin Lawrence Galleries at Caesar’s Palace’s Forum Shop from March 22 through April 10.

Allen will participate in Q+A sessions on March 28 and April 5. The events are free, but an RSVP is required. Learn more here.

Def Leppard will be kicking off their ‘Viva Hysteria’ nine-show residency at the Hard Rock Hotel on March 22.

Adrenaline Mob, featuring ex-Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, have shared studio footage of their cover of Van Halen‘s “Romeo Delight.” (Thanks, Guitar World!) The song will appear on the Coverta EP, due out March 12. Additionally, the Mob covers more classic rock, like songs from Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath and more on the EP. Brazilian metal warriors Sepultura are in the studio working on their next effort for Nuclear Blast. The Cavalera-less version -no Max, no Iggor- of the band will release the album in late 2013. See photos of them hard at work here.
