After 33 years of hard rock hedonism, Def Leppard plan to release their very first live album. Artisan News Service reports that frontman Joe Elliott said the band is pouring through hours upon hours of the live recordings from their recent world tour. They're currently in the process of selecting the choicest cuts for inclusion on the live opus. But it won't just be live renditions of 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' and 'Photograph.' The band also plans to tack new songs onto the album.

In other Lepp news, Elliott said they'll issue a coffee table photo book. Additionally, a cartoon series about Def Leppard is also in the works. Animate Joe Elliott and company? This we gotta see.
