Simply put, Australia's Deez Nuts have always been the brainchild and action of J.J. Peters -- the former drummer of defunct metalcore act I Killed the Prom Queen. For two albums now, Peters has furiously laid down all the instruments in the studio. The forthcoming 'This One's for You' is very much under the same rule, aside from the bass help of producer Roman Koester (the Red Shore) and notable guests from Bring Me the Horizon, Jona Wiehofen and Oliver Sykes.

Deez Nuts' sonic philosophy of hardcore comes by way of hip-hop and an early hardcore that's not afraid to deal out the punches. 'This One's for You' is not an album for scene fashion tips. Already out on Roadrunner Records in their native land, a few songs leaked early, giving evidence that Peters doesn't sway from the tough influences that he began with in 2007. It's just gotten heavier.

On Oct. 14, Deez Nuts will embark on their first U.S. tour with the Ghost Inside.

'This One's For You' hits the States on Oct. 25 from Mediaskare Records.
