American thrash legends Death Angel have shared the primal and apocalyptic cover for their new album 'The Dream Calls for Blood,' along with revealing a fall release date.

The cover, which you can view to the left, is a rendering of bloody, snarling wolves that look fresh from a kill or about to embark on a new one. It's certainly eerie and fits the music that the band is known for crafting, which is fast, furious, take-no-prisoners thrash metal.

The album will be streeting Oct. 15 in the U.S. via Nuclear Blast, which has been Death Angel's label home for quite some time. Head over here, where you can hear an ominous and spine-tingling sample of instrumental music which goes along with the cover reveal.

'The Dream Calls for Blood' is the follow up to 2010's 'Relentless Retribution.' Death Angel will host an album release show on Oct. 18 at Slim's in San Francisco to celebrate the launch of another thrashterpiece. Every ticket holder will receive a copy of the CD as well, so it's a two-fer! Can't go wrong with that.
