The new Body Count Bloodlust album is getting more interesting by the day, with one more key detail just being revealed about the forthcoming disc. Not only does Megadeth‘s Dave Mustaine make a guest turn on the effort, but he says in a recent social media post that it’s “by far my fave guest appearance.”

During a chat with fans via Twitter, Mustaine was asked about his recent time in the studio and whether or not he had been doing any writing. He responded by revealing that he had recently recorded a solo for the next Body Count album.

At that point, Ice-T chimed in via Twitter, revealing that Mustaine “killed it.” The rocker responded, “I had to. The song is badass! Glad you dig it! By far my fave guest appearance. Thanks again.” Mustaine went on to add, “The track I played on is great! Not because of me though…because of Ice-T!” See all three tweets below.

In addition to the guest turn, Mustaine and Megadeth will be touring with Body Count in 2017. Mustaine had high praise for Body Count in an interview last year, stating, “I always thoughts that Body Count, while if not for everybody, I thought it was great. It’s not your normal metal band, it’s cool to see somebody crossing over from the hip-hop world into the metal world. I think it’s great to be open-minded about different people from different backgrounds.”

Right before the end of the year, Ice-T teased the new song “No Lives Matter,” revealing that they were shooting a video for the likely lead single. “When I say ‘Black Lives Matter’ and you say ‘All Lives Matter,’ that’s like if I was to say ‘Gay Lives Matter’ and you say ‘All Lives Matter,’ if I said ‘Women’s Lives Matter’ and you say ‘All Lives Matter,’” explained the frontman. “You’re diluting what I’m saying, you’re diluting the issue. The issue isn’t about everybody, it’s about black lives at the moment. But the truth of the matter is they don’t really give a f—k about anybody if you break the s—t down to the low f—king dirty ass truth.”

Ice-T recently revealed on Twitter that more details about the new Bloodlust album will start to be revealed beginning Jan. 20 and leading all the way up to the disc’s March street date.
