Dave Mustaine did some more checking in with the Megadeth fans over Twitter today (Aug. 5), revealing some must-read details about his future.

Mustaine will turn 55 this year, but according to the thrash blueprinter, he’s got some good years left in him. A fan tweeted at Dave hoping he’d still be touring in six years time, to which Mustaine replied:

In a similar vein, another fan was curious of how many albums Dave sees in Megadeth’s future. The answer will potentially put Megadeth at 17 full-length records:

Dave ended the Q&A session with a humanitarian mission. Last night, Megadeth performed in Neuquén, Argentina. According to Mustaine, a fan was injured during the performance and taken to the hospital. That fan may be luckier than he thought, because he’s getting a visit from Dave himself:

Megadeth will continue their extensive tour of South America and Mexico before returning to the U.S. for a run of shows with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church and Havok. Head to Megadeth’s website for the band’s full tour schedule.
