Danzig Tour Dates With Gorgeous Frankenstein, Seventh Void

Glenn Danzig will be touring with former Misfits bandmate Doyle again ... but not like that. His namesake band Danzig and Gorgeous Frankenstein, featuring Doyle, will be touring together as part of the same bill. Also appearing is Seventh Void, which features Type O Negative guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly, who is also Danzig's live skinsman, so Kelly will be pulling double duty on this nine-city trek, which kicks off on June 15 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The tour comes just in time to promote the release of Danzig's latest album, 'Deth Red Sabaoth,' which will be issued by evilive/The End Records. It's Danzig's first album in six years, and features former Samhain bandmate, bassist Steven Zing, alongside Prong guitarist Tommy Victor and Kelly.

An Internet pre-sale is currently available at Ticketmaster and fans who purchase a ticket will also be able to buy a limited edition Danzig seven inch vinyl single, featuring two new songs, titled 'On a Wicked Night' and 'The Revengeful.' But for the tour, the 'Zig will perform definitive cuts from 'Danzig,' 'Lucifuge' and 'How the Gods Kill,' as well as premiering tracks from 'Deth Red Sabaoth.'

In a statement, Danzig said, "Danzig fans have their own favorites from throughout the years and I hope the set list we put together will satisfy everyone." One thing's for sure: if he plays 'Twist of Cain,' 'She Rides' or 'Her Black Wings,' this Danzig fan will be summarily satisfied.
