Be prepared for more Danzig in 2014. That could include a new TV special as well as a fresh album. Danzig just confirmed in a new online update that they’re currently in the studio working on new music.

In a new Facebook posting, it was revealed that frontman Glenn Danzig was working closely with Prong guitarist and his Danzig bandmate Tommy Victor last week. No timeline has been discussed for the new album, but with recording underway it’s not out of the question that a disc could be turned around for 2014.

The posting can be read below:

As for the ‘Danzig Legacy TV Special’ that was mentioned in the post, it was revealed earlier in the month that director Mark Brooks, best known for his work on ‘Metalocalypse,’ has been working on the editing and post EFX for the special. Fans who visit the Danzig Facebook page will get photo updates on the upcoming TV special leading up to its eventual airing.
