Danzig Announces First Leg of 25th Anniversary Tour + More News

Danzig is celebrating 25 years of Danzigdom with a series of tour dates. The first leg of the tour has been announced and it will feature Glenn Danzig and his former Misfits mate Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein performing the music of the Misfits. That’s certainly good enough news to make you want to fashion your hair into a devil lock.

Corrosion of Conformity and The Agonist will also appear.

Ratt singer Stephen Pearcy will release his autobiography Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll: My Life in Rock on May 7. The singer has been working on the book for quite some time, which will delve into the music, the groupies and the hedonism that came with life as the frontman in one of the biggest bands of the glam scene. Conditions have debuted the new song “Walking Separate Ways” from their upcoming album. Listen to it here.

Huntress are working on their sophomore album, which should see the light of day in late 2013. Frontwoman Jill Janus said, “Huntress is seriously stoked on Zeuss. He’s the real deal; a true heavy metal producer that shares our vision. We are ready to deliver a killer second album, and Zeuss is the man to make it happen. Hail metal!”

Otep has released her final album Hydra and is embarking on the Seduce and Destroy tour this March. One Eyed Doll and Picture Me Broken will provide support on these 22 dates, which are posted below.
