When a band shares its name with our weekly podcast, Creepshow, you know we here at Noisecreep have to show them a little name nepotism of sorts. The psychobilly-influenced band -- who admits to smashing elements of punk, '50s music and psychobilly into their own, unique sound -- doesn't want to fight us at 3:00 in the schoolyard over who rightfully owns the moniker of our podcast and their band. They're much more sly than that. "We'll get you while you're sleeping," Sean 'Sickboy' McNab told Noisecreep. Now we'll have to sleep with one eye open!

With the Halloween holiday approaching, the band certainly fits this festively autumnal time of year, and it has some pretty exciting plans. "Since the inception of the Creepshow, we have played in Toronto for two Halloweens and in Germany for two other Halloweens. This year, we are switching it up and playing in one of our favorite cities and clubs in Canada: in Edmonton, Alberta at New City," McNab said. So grab your pillow case and trick or treat down that way!

Of course, we don't have much room to talk when it comes to ownership of the name -- aside from the fact that our podcast is ''Creep Show,' which is a little bit different. The band and our podcast share our name with another Halloween classic -- 'Creepshow' the movie, which featured a series of horror shorts that have etched their way into horror fiend's hearts.

McNab admitted his and the band's love of the film, saying, "Of course! 'Creepshow' is a horror classic. Ted Danson and Leslie Neilson at their finest."
