Corrosion of Conformity are eyeing a late fall tour, but before that happens the band wants to make sure everyone is ready to go. As such, drummer Reed Mullin has gone under the knife today (Sept. 5) to get his shoulder attended to.

Mullin recently had rotator cuff issues that forced him to sit out some of the band's recent tour dates. The band revealed that "The Mule" was "getting his shoulder tuned up today" in a new Facebook posting. Check out their message below:

The Mule is getting his shoulder tuned up today. Wish him a speedy recovery to maximum strength and flexibility.
We'll be testing out the new and bionic Reed on the GWAR tour in mid November.

The group utilized former Kylesa drummer Eric Hernandez during Mullin's recent absence. The band just concluded a stretch of dates supporting their 'IX' album. As stated in their posting, CoC will return to the road in November. See their dates here.
