Slipknot / Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor has taken his talents to the silver screen. The musician will appear in the upcoming horror flick 'Fear Clinic,' which stars 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' legend Robert Englund.

Being a member of Slipknot inherently lends itself to some sort of connection with horror. Back in 2012, Slipknot percussionist Shawn 'Clown' Crahan played 'The Tamer' in the low-budget horror film 'The Devil's Carnival,' so this makes Corey Taylor the second Slipknot member to act in a fright film.

Corey Taylor has lived through some horrifying ordeals in his own life, as documented in the memoir 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven.'

Starring Robert Englund (aka Freddie Krueger), 'Fear Clinic' is about "a doctor [who] works to cure patients suffering from crippling phobias by placing them inside his invention which induces and controls hallucinations." The film's plot sounds pretty bad ass, and the film's trailer looks top-notch. Taylor plays Bauer, an employee of the clinic who struggles to keep things under control when all hell breaks loose. Taylor only appears briefly, but the entire trailer is worth checking out.
