Clinging to The Trees of a Forest Fire Thankful for Non-Band Attendees

The grinders that occupied Precious Metal’s showcase floor on Monday, Aug. 3 at the Lit Lounge were just happy that people were actually watching them at a New York City show. “And they’re not all in bands,” proudly added Clinging to The Trees of a Forest Fire‘s drummer J.P.

As a five piece from Denver, Colo., the band are modest midwesterners with gloomy fiery music that will make you want to just raise your fist. Oh, and they have shirts printed by Lenzig and friends (Cephalic Carnage). Beware of the projectile vomit and jesus mix. Remaining tour dates after the jump.

Aug 10 Floyd’s – Lincoln Park, Mich.
Aug 11 with Sick/Tired – Dekalb, Ill.
Aug 12 Washington St. Art Center – Vermillion, S.D.
