If you stuck around after the final daredevil/idiotic stunt in ‘Jackass 3D,’ which opened last weekend to huge box office numbers, then you were exposed to CKY‘s new single. That’s because ‘The Afterworld’ is being used in the closing credits of the film. Given that drummer Jess Margera is the brother of ‘Jackass’ star Bam Margera, the connection is no surprise at all.

The currently label-less band is really embedding itself in the public’s consciousness again, especially since they’re planning to hit the road this fall. The CKY tour dates begin on Oct. 29.

‘The Afterworld’ will also live on the ‘Jackass 3D’ soundtrack, which Epitaph will release on Oct. 26.

In other ‘Jackass 3D’ metal-related news, our friends at ARTISTdirect recently conducted an interview with the movie’s cast, where they namedrop Slayer.
