The Charlie Sheen media blitz has now spilled over into the metal world, courtesy of Cleveland's Chimaira. The band is celebrating Sheen-mania with their winning cover of the song 'Wild Thing.' It's a fitting choice, as the song plays a massive part in Sheen's 1989 film, 'Major League.' In the movie, Sheen plays the pitcher of the beleaguered Cleveland Indians, league underdogs who eventually morph into a winning team.

The cover song was just a case of the band having fun in the studio, according to frontman Mark Hunter.

Meanwhile, Chimaira remain hard at work on their forthcoming album, which will be their eOne debut. The album is due out sometime this year. It's refreshing to hear the band letting off a little steam and having fun in the studio. Charlie Sheen would be proud!
