Children of Bodom's ninth studio album, I Worship Chaos, will act as the next chapter of the band's legendary career once the record is released on Oct. 2. However, a brand new track from the album, "Morrigan," is available now for your headbanging pleasure right now (listen above).

When Bodom fans hear "Morrigan," they'll probably think of the Hatecrew Deathroll era and perhaps even CoB's eighth album, Halo of Blood. "Morrigan" is a slower track, which Children of Bodom are known to include on their albums, so we'll see how it melds into I Worship Chaos once it comes out.

"As much fun (but most importantly raw, literally bloody knuckled hard work) it has been making it, I'm more than happy and even more anxious to share this chaos with the rest of the world," Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho says. "So people, put your shades and helmets on, it will get very dark and it might hurt, in a perfect Children of Bodom fashion, of course!"

After recently parting ways with guitarist Roope Latvala, Children of Bodom recruited keyboardist Janne Wirman's younger brother, Antti, to fill the void. "We wanted to go with someone close to the band we can count on and who can nail these songs. Antti was the obvious choice," Janne says.

I Worship Chaos pre-order bundles are now available for eager fans. Right now, you can order the album as a CD, CD + DVD digibook, double LP in picture format or various colors, and with a digibook + canvas pack.
