With the Oct. 2 release of their latest album I Worship Chaos less than two weeks away, Finnish crushers Children of Bodom have released the official video for the track "Morrigan."

The clip was directed by Patric Ullaueus, who says, "The last time I worked with COB we did great stuff together. Trashed, Lost and Strungout was Gold awarded and the Chaos Ridden Years Stockholm Knockout Live DVD was also Gold awarded. So after all these years it was a great pleasure to get to work with them again."

Ullaueus continues, "The band decided not to be in the video as they wanted to tell the story about the warrior goddess Morrigan and together with the band we made this tale about a man fighting his inner demons." Watch their video for "Morrigan" in the player above.

The band has been releasing a series of track-by-track videos in advance of the album, and in the video below they discuss "Morrigan." Keyboardist Janne Wirman says, "It's just so catchy, the main melody and everything about it. The funny thing is that I've played this album to a couple friends of mine at home and all the females love that song."

"It's true," adds frontman Alexi Laiho. "I've played it for so many of my friends and females seem to be very much into it. Nothing wrong with that, right? So it became a single."

Children of Bodom will playing shows in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia in October, followed by a European tour. For all their dates, go here. I Worship Chaos is available for pre-order at this location.
