Bring Me the Horizon are slaying stages and audiences at Warped Tour this summer, but the British bruisers have been having a little fun during the down time. Singer Oli Sykes, pretty much worshipped by the group's loyal legion of fans, posted photos of his band playing nu metal, um, "dress up" during a tour stop via his Instagram feed. You will be instantly transported to the late '90s and early '00s, when masked and makeup-wearing metal was king.

Slathered in body paint and with spiky hair, BMTH certainly channel an era long gone! Think Slipknot, Mudvayne, Insane Clown Posse, Motograter… the latter of which featured a current member of Five Finger Death Punch -- singer Ivan Moody. It's quite an homage that doesn’t feel like BMTH are poking fun as much as they are having fun.

Remember BMTH covered Slipknot in the past, so there's little -- if any -- irony in these shots ... we think! Sykes even captioned one of the pics "Down With the Sickness," a reference to Disturbed. See the scrapbook of photos below. And if you are so inclined to follow Sykes' photographic exploits, his Instagram handle is here.
