Bret MichaelsBret Michaels, the Poison singer and reality star who suffered a brain hemorrhage on Friday, remains in critical condition and hospitalized in an undisclosed location. According to a pair of posts, dated April 24 and 25, on the ailing rocker's official website, www.BretMichaels.com, further tests are being conducted and information will provided in the next few days. The post also stated that there were several incorrect reports on Bret's condition over the weekend and that is the official word on the matter.

The text of the April 25 post is as follows: "Everyone at Michaels Entertainment would like to thank all fans and friends for their continued thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. ... At this point, Bret remains in ICU in critical condition. He is under 24-hour doctors care and supervision. We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located. As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal."

Michaels underwent an emergency appendectomy two weeks ago, which forced him to cancel a gig. He also suffers from diabetes.
